9:30AM-11:00AM || SHARED MEMORIES: HISTORY OF ASIAN AMERICANS AT YALE EXHIBIT

Shared Memories: History of Asian Americans at Yale Exhibit is on display at the Asian American Cultural Center (AACC, 295 Crown Street). The exhibit traces the history of Asian Americans at Yale from the early days of student organizing to today. Major themes include student activism, social and racial issues on campus, student and faculty recruitment, and academics. Come learn about Asian American life at Yale through original materials such as newspaper articles, event posters, and correspondences. Join one of the guided tours from Exhibit Curators at listed times throughout the weekend or feel free to peruse on your own.

Join Susan Choi in a discussion of her novel, The Foreign Student, which won the Asian American Literary Award for fiction and was described in The New Yorker as "Epic in its harrowing accounts of and intimate in its charged descriptions of the unlikely love affair at its center."
